The system in detail
The Army describes changes to communications, protection and sustainment while noting the vehicle’s outward similarity to earlier Abrams versions. Appearance alone is a poor guide to configuration.
The source’s dimensions and crew are suitable review candidates. Its mass does not specify the load condition, and its speed and range are lower bounds; those are deliberately not converted into exact comparison values.
