The Light Armoured Vehicle ( LAV ) is a series of armoured vehicles built by General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada (GDLS-C), a London, Ontario -based subsidiary of General Dynamics .
The LAV continues to form the backbone of the Canadian Army 's combat vehicle fleet.
